How to Handle a Stressful Week


Don’t eat sugar, although your body might be craving it due to sleep deprivation and lack of energy, you will only have a bigger crash later and feel more tired.

Do indulge in a tasty snack; such as strawberries covered in sour cream with a hint of Stivia, trust me it is sooooo good.

Don’t skip out on a workout, because working out releases endorphins and can release stress and raise your mood.

Do find a workout that is both fun and effective. Some bad day workouts I like to do is put on my favorite playlist, set my alarm for 40 minutes, and just dance (as recommended by Chalene Johnson).  Another workout that I like to do is the 8 minute abs, it works your abs like crazy and it’s only 8 minutes, which gets you pumped for more.

Don’t beat yourself up and re-analyze everything that you did that day to find out why it went wrong.

Do watch a movie, maybe a sitcom, or a comedy. I love to watch New Girl when i’m feeling down, because just one episode always cheers me up. Also Big Bang is a favorite of mine. I can’t wait for the new season of New Girl on Sep 17th, it is just around the corner.
